Kajans Women's Enterprise is a community-based arts organisation that work with artists, children and adults primarily through arts education and performance. Kajans also promotes life-long learning and social enterprise within the community they serve. Kajans is a founder member of the CISC organisation, based in the creative industries in North Birmingham and works in accordance with the social enterprise model of business.

Kajans' local, regional, national and international arts activities are delivered by the highest calibre of artists and tutors through a range of traditional and contemporary styles informed by the black cultural aesthetics. Kajans regularly contracts with service providers to design and deliver community capacity building courses, parenting classes and other training courses as well as a range of educational programmes.
